HO Scale D&RGW 36ft GS Gondola (40k Series) - As-Built Era
This custom designed HO Scale 3D printed kit contains parts for GS Gondolas as rostered by the Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) in the 40000 number series. These cars were built in 1908-09, at 36ft long, with a 50 ton rating. Decals and details included are for the as-built life of these cars, from 1908 to 1920s.

No 10 in wooden side extensions
Longer dump levers on car ends
Vertical "stemwinder" brake staff to the KC brake arrangement

(1) Custom decal sheet for the As Built D&RG era (1908 - 1920s)

The kit does not include paint, trucks, wheels, couplers, or wire grab irons. The coupler pockets are sized for Kadee whisker couplers, and most manufacturers of HO scale archbar or Andrews style trucks will work. Grab Iron dimples are spaced for Tichy grab irons.
