HO Scale D&RGW Offset 46ft GS Gondola (70k Series) With Coke Rack - Late Era
This custom designed HO Scale 3D printed kit contains parts for GS Gondolas as rostered by the Denver & Rio Grande Western (D&RGW) in the 70000 number series, commonly referred to as “offset” gondolas. These cars were built in 1922, at 46ft long, with a 70 ton rating. This particular kit has the coke rack attachments printed integral to the carbody.
85 of these coke racks were added in 1942, and after removal, a separate batch of 75 cars modified with racks in 1948, per AFE records. Decals for these cars are 1 of 14 of the original 85 modified in 1942.

The kit does not include paint, couplers or wire grab irons, but the coupler pockets are sized for Kadee whisker couplers.
