This custom designed HO Scale 3D printed kit contains parts for Composite GS Gondolas as rostered by the Western Pacific in the 4101 - 4500 & 5301 - 6000 number series.

Car #’s 4101 – 4500 (400 count) built in 1918, updated with steel doors in 1928-1929. Car #’s 5301 – 6000 (700 count) built in 1921, updated with steel doors and 600 of total updated with pressed steel ends.

This kits intended timeframe is roughly from the rebuilds to end of service in late 1950s.

(1) 3D printed resin one-piece 41ft carbody with AB brakes, wood or steel ends.

(2) Styrene coupler pocket covers

(1) Tichy vertical brake staff + 0.015 wire

(4) Tichy double stirrup steps (#3045)

(2) 2-56 x 3/16” black oxide screws for coupler attachment

(2) 2-56 x 1/4“ black oxide screws for truck attachment

(1) Custom decal sheet for 1930s -1950s, with two-out-of-28 possible easy-to-decal numbers

(1) Lead metal bar for ballast weight

(1) Instruction Sheet

The kit does not include paint, trucks, wheels, couplers, or wire grab irons. The coupler pockets are sized for Kadee whisker couplers, and most manufacturers of HO scale archbar or Andrews style trucks will work. Grab Iron dimples are tested with Tichy grab irons.
